1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, encrypted password, invitation status, and account settings.
• Google and YouTube information: when you connect YouTube, we receive authorization tokens and may retrieve your YouTube channel identity, subscriptions, and recent uploads from subscribed channels.
• Usage and technical information: service logs, IP address, browser/device details, playback requests, error diagnostics, and security events.
• Cookies and local storage: essential sign-in cookies and locally saved preferences such as playback quality and lookup mode.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure TVTesla, maintain your account, display YouTube feeds you request, prepare video playback, remember preferences, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and communicate about the service.

3. Google API data

TVTesla’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve user-facing features requested through TVTesla. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence models.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure, email, database, and security providers that help operate TVTesla, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice.

5. Data retention and deletion

Account information is kept while your account remains active. Google authorization tokens are retained until you disconnect YouTube, revoke access, or request deletion. Operational logs and cached API responses are retained only as reasonably necessary for reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

You may disconnect YouTube inside TVTesla and may also revoke access from your Google Account security settings. To request deletion of your TVTesla account and associated data, email [email protected].

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, hashed passwords, and protected authorization tokens. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

TVTesla is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Third-party services

YouTube videos and data are provided by Google and YouTube and remain subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. External live channels and websites have their own policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TVTesla changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
